What is the "STATEMENT OF FAITH"?
- It is the firm foundation containing the "TWENTY-ONE DOCTRINES OF FAITH OF THE EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN CHURCHES".
- It is the practical affirmation to be expressed, explained and declared by all believers in Christ Jesus.
- It is the written presentation that reveals the way of life of Christians "WITH MEANING AND PURPOSE", expounded in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Why a "DECLARATION OF FAITH"?
- Because God's will is to make known through the Holy Scriptures, who He is and what are His wonderful and marvelous works.
- Because the Word describes the "Mystery of God"; also "the Mystery of the kingdom of heaven", the "Mystery of Mercy", the Grace of God, justification by faith, the life of the New Man, the endowment with power, etc. These are other truths that have been revealed in this Dispensation to the Church. Not to participate in them is to be left out.
- For those who enter the various congregations have every right to know what are the fundamentals of the Christian faith that is preached, what are the truths that will be taught to them, and in what manner they will advance as the Body of Christ.
- For the commandment of the Lord Jesus is directed especially to the Pastors, to guard and teach sound doctrine and not to depart from the Holy Scriptures.
